Well yesterday I went and checked my moose Trail camera in hopes of seeing and capturing our first moose of the spring season. I ended up getting 170 pictures on my camera. Some pics of deer and some of moose. looks like 4 different moose including 2 adult bulls, 1 yearling bull and 1 cow, also had several deer captured on the camera, 2 looked like they might be pretty decent deer come this fall.
Also , yesterday I found time to take myself turkey hunting and shot a pretty decent Tom weighing 19 lbs with a 10 inch beard and 3qtr inch spurs. Went out today with my 14 year old niece, the day started off promising with 5 birds gobbling behind us. That is where the promising morning ended! After not seeing anything on our morning set up we decided to move to another great spot, only seeing 1 strutting Tom all day and that was on posted property! We will give it another try next weekend.
